I was sent this book, and the author's bundy book, by a close friend of mine. I sat down and read a few pages, then got up, made a cup of coffee, came back and sat down on the couch and read a few more pages. Then, I realized the writing was very good, and the layout fantastic, so I put my cellphone on airport mode. It's an easy read with headers for individual characters, and their locations, in a time line throughout the book. I did a marathon read and finished the book in just over 3 hours. I was drained by the end. The suspense was equal to well known mystery writers I thought, and the most suspense involved a psychic getting visions of the murderer. I gave it 4 stars for some confusing character dialogue and information, and the way it ended. It felt like an oh by the way kind of ending. I loved the information which included exhibits of evidence, and a Chronology of events. The story is very much worth the read, and I think you too will read it straight through.

I liked this book as much as the author's Ted Bundy book.

Again, it is the psychic who really solves the crime even when the police make it as difficult as possible. And something about the way the book moves seems to put you right in the middle of the crime. This murderer, too, isn't just a killer; he's a fiend, a fiend from Hell. Certainly Satan himself must be pleased as such awful behavior.

This book was easy to read because of the way it was formatted. It's wonderful when I can read quickly without getting a constant reminder that my eyes are no longer young.

Echoes from the Mind

I live in Gainesville, FL but wasn't here when Ted Bundy started his Florida killing spree. I found Waller's book totally absorbing, and literally couldn't put it down except around 12 midnight, when I typically get very sleepy. It is a long book, and as I did have other things to do, it took me a few days to finish it. Waller is a very good writer. I especially liked the absence of horrible grammatical mistakes (much too frequent in kindle books), and the buildup of tension as the book proceeded. I am lookin forward to reading much more by Susan Waller.
