I was hooked from page two. The author has a talent for drawing the reader in and relating the story. This was a difficult subject at times, and yet she managed to relate what happened to the victims being respectful and allowing them to retain their dignity. I anxiously await the next book. Keep your eye on Susan Waller Lehmann, as she is a gifted writer.

I lived in Gainesville where these murders took place. The whole town was freaked out. Lehmann accurately conveys the scene I and others experienced in this excellent book. I didn't know that any psychics were involved in solving the crime, but I think that Lehmann, who l also lived near Gainesville at the time would have known what the police and others were doing.
I actually couldn't put this book down, and not only because I was familiar with many of the events described. Lehmann's writing actully drags the reader into the action, so he or she experiences the events vicariously. I don't know how she hooks me, but she did it with her other book. I'm not complaining. It was a long and very satisfying read.

An excellent and riveting read! I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it. Well documented and compassionate. I was in Gainesville - a student myself - at the time of the Rolling murders and I remember that time well. Susan's account is from a unique perspective that makes one really appreciate those things in life we may not be able to see but are powerfully compelling to believe in.
